If you found yourself sitting on the terrace by the pool at Ca’s Sant, you may imagine you were miles from anywhere. In reality however, you would be a little over half a kilometre from the centre of Soller, a very pretty old town nestling in the mountain landscape, famous for the cultivation of oranges and some say, the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.
The hotel itself has six guest rooms (one of which caters for disabled). All are gorgeously rustic and very cosy indeed, with the benefit of central heating and air conditioning. Outside, the terraces and gardens are as breathtaking as the views of the nearby mountains along the Costa Nord.
Ca’s Sant is a great place from which to experience a little of the island’s quirks, like the trams which run between the town and the port, about 3Km away, or indeed the old narrow gauge railway, which dates from the 1920s and transports it’s passengers through the mountains on it’s journey to Palma.
A good choice of accommodation for those who want to see Mallorca from a rather refreshing prespective, whilst indulging oneself in an exceptional opportunity to unwind in exquisite countryside surroundings.
