Transformed from an ancient building with a fascinating history, into a beautiful hotel in one of the finest areas in old Pollensa town.
In the year 1459 the “Posada de Lluc” was donated to the Sanctuary of Lluc by the nobleman Thomas Thomas.
Originally a retreat for monks and their students who lodged here after visiting Lluc monastery (a sanctuary way up in the mountains south west of Pollensa), this intriguing place was also where pilgrims gathered prior to their ascent to that same holy mountain retreat.
In 1855 the Holy Order of Lluc was dispossessed of the building by the state. Eventually, by the early part of the 20th Century, the house had been sold into private hands.
Now, this beautiful medieval town house has been transformed into a unique and extremely comfortable hotel. It is furnished in a traditional Mallorquin fashion and has eight very individually styled bedrooms, each offering it’s own special ambiance.
All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with telephone, satelite T.V., air-conditioning, heating, safe and mini-bar.
