The 18th Century country house hotel of El Encinar stands on a hill close to the old town of Arta, in Mallorca’s far north east.
The hotel is surrounded by mature and very well tended Mediterranean gardens and olive groves, from where there are panoramic views of the mountains and of the sea.
El Encinar de Artal has ten guest rooms, including a single and doubles ranging from small & cosy, to spacious superiors, most of which have a terrace / balcony. All have stylish en-suite facilities, heating, air-conditioning and satellite TV. Bathrooms have hairdryers and robes for your added comfort.
In addition, El Encinar has a spacious apartment which accommodates up to four persons. This consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, lounge and terrace - Perfect accommodation for a small family or a group of friends who prefer a little independence, but still wish to take advantage all of the hotel’s facilities and services. Whilst the superb breakfast buffet is included for stays in the rooms at El Encinar, as far as the apartment is concerned, breakfast is an optional extra.
The enchanting lounge and sitting room with fireplace and honesty bar not only provide a haven in which to escape the cooler days of the winter months, but also offer the ideal venue in which to take a leisurely drink prior to sampling a delightful dinner in the restaurant, or perhaps enjoying one of El Encinar’s regular ‘al fresco’ barbecue dinners.
In front of the hotel is the pool, surrounded by substantial terraces set amid fragrant pines - A wonderful place to enjoy afternoon tea or coffee with a slice of the owner’s delicious home-made cake!

60 to 30 days notice, 25% of total cost is charged.
30 to 15 days notice, 50% of total cost is charged.
Less that 15 days notice or failure to arrive, 100% of total cost is charged.
